To generate extra funds for our depleted coffers, businesses and individuals would be charged a one-off 5% windfall fee of the total amount stored in each account for having cash saved outside the UK, which they are using for offshore tax havens.

The banks themselves would be able to collect an additional 1% fee of the account total for collecting and passing the data and cash back to the UK Government. This would ensure that no-one was left out of the audit. This would close a long-used loophole and generate some of our overdue missing revenue when we need it most from the people who can afford it most.
