20260904 - Environmental Issues

In my last post, I mentioned the new Energy Secretary, Miatta Fahnbulleh, who takes the environment very seriously but understands that every penny does not have to be squeezed out of the population at large to achieve this aim. This was backed by the prime minister.

Prime Minister, let me introduce you to Richard Burd, who is a world authority on water and environmental issues. I run this website jointly with him. People like Richard have left the country because successive governments would not listen to people like them and instead listened to those with ministerial contacts and VIP routes.

After solving many problems in different parts of the globe, Richard has come back to Britain. Give him and people like him a chance. They do not have high-level VIP contacts. But people like him have the solutions, and that too at a very low cost.
